Services Will Be On Friday For Henry Plugge

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Methodist Church in Kennard for Henry B. Plugge who died May 26, 1980 at the Veterans Hospital in Grand Island. Rev. John Fritzmeier will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Henry B. Plugge was born January 15, 1893, in Arlington to Fred and Sophia P. (Heuermann) Plugge. He married Lillian Evelyn French in Kennard on August 20, 1919.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Washington County. A veteran, he served his country from June 2, 1918 to June 11, 1919. He was 87 years old at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian of Kennard and two sons, Robert Plugge of Blair and Bill Plugge of Kennard. Two brothers, Albert, Arlington and Walter of Blair; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Siercks, Fremont, and Mrs. Lorena Klinger of Anaheim, California; seven grand-children and seven great-grandchildren also survive him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Edna Jahnel.

Pallbearers for the services will be Roger Plugge, Randy Plugge, Wm. T. Daly, Rick Plugge, Charles Engelken, Tom Plugge and James Olson.

Clare Cowing will be organist for the serices. Homer Nielsen will provide the vocal music.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
