Rebecca Ann Cagle Brown Futrell, 54, of Salisbury, went peacefully home to be with her departed loved ones and her God on Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at her residence.
Born Sept. 8, 1952, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Futrell was a daughter of the late Margaret Blackwell Cagle and Robert Howard Cagle. A graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Roland Futrell, whom she married Feb. 5, 1988; the father of her two children, Sidney E. Brown; daughters Monica Ann Brown of Concord and Jennifer Renee Brown Bullard and husband William "Shawn" of Kannapolis; sisters Nancy Cagle Aycock and husband Ronnie of Rockwell and Judy Cagle Shoe and husband Gary of Oakboro; and grandchildren Aimee Brown, Joshua Brown, Howard Brown, Alexus Bullard and David Bullard.
Memorial Service: The body will be cremated and a memorial service held at 2 pm. Thursday at South China Grove Baptist Church with Pastor William Donaldson and Dr. Ronnie Aycock officiating. Burial will be at West Concord Cemetery.
