Age 93 years & 10 months of Nashville, TN., April 17, 2008. Elsie was a loving & generous wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a founding member of Anna Gay Sunday School Class at Andrew Price United Memorial Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Ernest B. Adams, owner of Town & Country Hardware Store of Donelson. Survived by daughters, Peggy Joyce (Bob) Newport, Judy Eileen (William) Woods, Kathy Lynn (Martin) Sparks; grandsons, Bobby Akin (Terri) Newport, Jr., James Bradley (Jamie) Newport; Adam Martin Sparks, Scott William Sparks, Ridgely Wayne Allen; granddaughters, Barbee Newport (Frank) McClure, Megan Lynn Sparks, Lisa Ann Allen; great-grandchildren, Josiah Newport, Brenna Newport, Kaziah Newport, Evan Newport, Bobby McClure, Jonah Newport, Gwyn McClure, Isaiah Newport, Journie McClure, Abigail Newport, Ellie McClure, Peggy McClure, Rebekah Newport, Franklin McClure, Addie McClure. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home with Rev. Von Unruh officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alive Hospice or Andrew Price United Memorial Methodist Church.
