Ralph Virgil "Lock" Lacquement was born November 29, 1912, at Prague, OK, the oldest of 11 children of Levi and Ladie Moore Lacquement. He grew up in IL and Oshkosh NE.
On August 6, 1934 he married Dorothy Irene Killman in Chandler IL. She preceded him in death in 1973. On May 24, 1975 he married Rose Varner in Baker. She passed away in 1984.
He began work in the oil fields at age 16. He worked for Shell Oil, Rocket Wells Service, Meridian Oil Inc. & Southland of Houston TX, Fish and Game Department and ran the Texaco and Enco Service Stations in Baker.
Mr Lacquement belonged to the Southern Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge # 142 of Stroud OK, and Scottish Lodge of Billings.
Mr Lacquement passed away February 11, 1993 at the Fallon Medical Complex at Baker.
Survivors include a daughter, Wilma Rusley of Baker; a son, Kenneth Lacquement of Terry; a step-daughter, Carola Moline of Miles City; two brothers, RA Lacquement of Ft Worth TX and Howard Lacquement of Shawnee OK; five sisters, Ruby Stewart of Oklahome City OK, Bonnie Spittler of Shawnee OK, Nelda Smith of Stroud OK, Ina Heil of Oklahoma City OK, Lorene Mannon of Arvada CO and Faye Brown of Yucca Valley CA; six grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wives; a brother, Roy, and infant sister, a step grandson, and twin great-grandchildren.
