OBITUARY for Connie Marie Andrew

December 14, 1954 - November 12, 2017

Connie Marie (Hebert) Andrew passed away peacefully Sunday morning, November 12, 2017 at Lafayette General Medical Center with family members at her side at the age of 62. She was born on December 14, 1954 in Lafayette, LA, the fourth child of Annie Mae Ayo and John Wilson Hebert. She is a graduate of Acadiana High School and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana. She met the love of her life, Randy Andrew, and together lovingly raised two daughters, Jennifer and Lauren.

Connie loved selflessly and unconditionally. She showed us what love was and how to love big. She supported her loving husband and adoring daughters in everything that they set their hearts to do. She showed us how to be strong and give everything your best. Randy and Connie have been married for 34 years and he has loved and cared for Connie with his whole heart. Their love for each other is seen, heard, and felt by all who knew them. She had a beautiful quality of life and was always surrounded by love. She has kept her dignity and belief in God throughout her ten year struggle with her health. We know she has been welcomed with open arms at the gates of Heaven.

Cherishing Connie's memory is husband, Randy Andrew; daughters, Jennifer Andrew of Austin, Texas and Lauren Lewis and son-in-law Christopher Lewis and twin granddaughters-to-be, Elizabeth Drew and Olivia Marie of Beaufort, South Carolina. She is also survived by her siblings, Arthur Hebert and wife Linda, Merlene Woody and husband George, Linda Meche and husband Fred, Carla Hebert; brother-in-law, George Glenn Andrew, Jr. and wife Sharon; sister-in-law, Carol Ann Pataky and husband Ron; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her father, John Wilson Hebert, step-father Sidney Ayo, and many family and friends.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's Scott location on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
