Walter Edward Day, 83, of Kinta died Tuesday in Haskell County Hospital. Services were today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. in Mallory Funeral Chapel with Rev. H. L. Golden officiating. Burial was in Quinton Cemetery. A retired farmer Day was born Jan. 1898 in Jackson County, Ala.
He is survived by his wife Clara, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Woodrow Wimberly of Lancaster, Calif.; two brothers, Condy Day and Floyd Day both of Kinta; one sister Mrs. Della Mabray of Stigler; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
