Clara Gabbard Wright, 57, of Sturgis, died Friday, July 7, 1989, at Union County Methodist Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Robert Wright; one son, Gibby Wright of Sturgis; her mother, Mabel Gabbard of Owensboro; and two sisters, Christine Loyd of Owensboro and Irene McGill of Munford, TN. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home, Sturgis. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Owensboro. Visitation at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today and after 2 p.m. Sunday.
