Sister of county residents dies


Mrs. Catherine E. Reinhard, 58, of route 1, Craigville, sister of six Adams county residents, died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday at the Bluffton clinic hospital, where she had been hospitalized seven weeks.


She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.


Born in Adams county on August 23, 1915, she was the daughter of John and Lydia Gerber-Steffen, and was married on May 4, 1952, to Harry Reinhard, who survives.


Also surviving are five children, Larry, Roger, Joan, Linda and Mary Jo; three sisters, Mildred, Violet and Mrs. Roy (Virgene) Reinhard, all of route 4, Decatur, and three brothers, Wilmer, Glennes and Ralph, all of route 4, Decatur. Four brothers preceded her in death.


Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Apostolic Christian Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Goodwin funeral home, Bluffton.
