Pottstown Mercury August 31, 1953 page 3 "Harvey N. Ludy 83. Eastern Mennonite home. Souderton. Died at the home late Saturday night. Born and reared in Pottstown, he worked as a puddler at the Glasgow Iron Works for 40 years. He was the son of the late William K. and Leah Y. (Neiman) Ludy and the husband of the late Kate M. (Mathias) Ludy. He leaves two daughters. Ester, wife of William Seyler, Glasgow street, Stowe and Eva R., wife of David Hettrick, Schwenksville; two sons. John M. Ludy, Pottstown RD 3 and Paul Ludy, Norristown; two sisters, Sallie, wife of Allan Erb, Swamp; Mame Ludy, Royersford; two brothers. Edward Ludy, Reading and Ambrose Ludy, Douglassville, Berks Co. 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at the Pottstown Mennonite church, Hanover, and Prospect streets, with the Rev. Elmer G. Kolb, pastor offiating. Internment will be in Pottstown's West End Cemetery."
