Timothy Mark Schreckengost Sr., 64, of New Bethlehem, passed away at his home on Wednesday evening, May 31, 2023 after a long fight with cancer. He never gave up hope, even to the very end.

His doctors and nurses all enjoyed his sense of humor.

Tim will be missed by his wife Jeanne, who diligently took care of all his needs through this fight.

He has three children that he adored, Tim Jr. (Nicki) of New Bethlehem, William (Amanda) of Kittanning and Harlee Sipes (Chris) also of New Bethlehem; and two step-children, Ben Rumbarger (Billie) of Sligo and Emilee Bowser and her partner, Stacey, of Colonial Beach, Va.

His grandchildren were his pride and joy — Kennedy, Lilly, Leila, Ryder, Camdyn, Christopher, Kira, Danny and Maddie.

Tim will be sadly missed by his dog, Rosie.

He was a graduate of Redbank Valley High School and went on to continue his education at Wyo Tech and Triangle Tech.

Tim owned and operated Ye Olde Gun Shop in South Bethlehem for 25 years with the help of his two sons. He also worked at the Goodwill donation centers in Clarion and Brookville for 15 years. His last job was his favorite place to work, UCIP in Clarion and Venango counties, where he was a maintenance man. He loved each and every one of the individuals, and always took the time to do special little jobs they wanted done or took the time just to talk to them.

He previously served as Scout Master to Boy Scout troops 77 and 677.

At Tim's request, there will be no services.
