Mrs. Nettie Lee Fountain Carter, 92, resident of Route 2, Box 1022, Lawtey, Florida passed away Friday, January 28, 2000 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born and raised in Dr. Inlet. She attended school there. She was a member of Clay Hill Baptist Church and she was a homemaker. She is survived by one son Mr. Leon Carter of Clay Hill; one daughter Mrs. Nancy Thornton of Starke; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survives. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 30, 2000 at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. James Saunders, Rev. Larry Thornton, and Rev. Larry Fish, officiating with burial in Long Branch Cemetery, with Archie Tanner Funeral Home of Starke, in charge of Arrangements.
