Lilyan June Hughes, 72, 508 Lewis St., North Bend, died May 13, in Coos Bay. She was born June 6, 1898, in Portland, and lived since 1935 in the Bay Area. Surviving are step-children, Eugene Hughes, North Bend; Kenneth Hughes, Portland; Cleo Meyers, Salem; and Ethel Annin, Portland. Also surviving is a friend, James Meeham. Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Campbell-Watkins North Bend Chapel with the Rev. John Berger of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church of North Bend officiating. Burial will be in Ocean View Memory Gardens.
