Herbert Bogard, former Fontana
Herbert Brent [sic] Bogard, 53, of 1584 Gray Ave., Yuba City, died Sunday in a San Bernardino hospital. He was born in Big Creek, Calif., and formerly resided 25 years on the Fontana-Riverside area.
He was a retired supervisor from Pacific Telephone Co. He belonged to the Moose Lodge in Yuba City and was a World War II veteran with the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret E.; a son, David of Nevada; two daughters, Judy Fese of Sylmar and Sheryl Papageorge of North Hollywood; his mother, Hazel Quinn of Panorama City, and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stanley L. Dickey Mortuary Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
