He was formerly employed as a truck driver with Quality Supply and Thomas Construction. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed boating, riding motorcycles and four-wheeling. He loved being able to go to his son's motorcycle races and share with him the joy of being his father. His family was very important to him, and his dedication to them was evident in the last few years as he grew closer to each of them.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, Harry and Shirley; are his wife of 17 years, Susan; one son who was the pride of his life, Lee; two brothers; two sisters; a special sister, Brenda; 10 nieces and nephews; and a large number of close friends and hunting buddies.
