Claiborne Teel (Grove, Okla.)--Services for Claiborne Jackson "C.J." Teel, 78, who died Friday at his home in Rural Grove after an illness, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Lewis Threeton, the Rev. Wayne Wall and the Rev. Dick Sanders. Burial will be in Southwest City (Mo.) Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley Funeral Home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Teel was born Aug. 3, 1907, near Southwest City. He was a member of the Whitewater Baptist Church, rural Grove. He married Hazel Fern Shaffel March 5, 1927. She died Aug. 9, 1939. He later married Rosa Etta Medlin. She survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Bonnie Bryant, Seneca, Mo., Francine Clemmens, Grove, Twilla Roberts, Lexington, Ky., and Betty Giles, Salina; three sons, Roy Medlin and Howard Teel, both of Grove, and Marshall Teel, Jay; 34 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
