DICK E. ARNETT, age 61, of Oxford-Gettysburg Rd., Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, February 16, 1998 at his residence. Born on September 13, 1936 in Eldorado, Ohio, he was the son of George A.C. & Eva Jane (Studebaker) Arnett. He was a 1954 Monroe High School graduate, retired in May 1988 after 32 years at Armacost Elevator in Eaton; member of Moose Lodge #329 - Greenville, Ohio and has lived in Preble County all of his life. Preceded in death by Brother: Max Lee Arnett in 1928; Sister: Phyllis Brodrick in 1989.

Survived by Wife of 43 years: Ethel Mae (Richards) Arnett; Sons: Kevin E. Arnett, Brookville, OH; Dickey E. Arnett, Jr., West Manchester, OH; Scott E. Arnett, New Paris, OH; Daughters: Holli S. Davis, Eaton, OH; Cindy L. Phillips, Jamestown, NY; Deanna J. Begley, Germantown, OH; Brother: Esta J.W. Arnett, Twin Lakes, MI; Sister: June D. Lawrence, New Paris, OH; 16 Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 1998 - 10:30 a.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Bryan Rea officiating. Interment will be held in Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, 1998 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Moose Lodge service at 7:45 p.m.
