In memory of William Porteous who died at Linn Mill 29th Jany 1865, aged 62 years. Also Agnes Graham, relict of the above Wm Porteous who died at Lockerbie 15th Dec 1873, aged 75 years. Also David their son who died at Mid Banks 21st Mary 1840, aged 3 years. Also Margt Graham their granddaughter who died at Linn Mill 1st Feby 1863, aged 7 years. Also Mary Porteous, daughter of the above, who died at Greenock 21st June 1884, aged 46. Also his daughter Agnes Telfort who died at Greenock 20th Feby 1905, aged 72 years
