Regina Sue Eddy, 66, of Pentress, WV died Sunday, February 11, 2024 in J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

         

She was born March 15, 1957 at Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Cecil C. Gum and Kara Jo Hamilton Gum.

         

Mrs. Eddy formerly worked at Mon General Hospital for many years.  She was a Christian by faith.

         

Surviving are two sons, Duane Ayres of Winston Salem, NC and Richard Eddy of Pentress; one daughter, Jeanie Price of Wadestown; two brothers, Donley Gum of Daybrook and Jack Gum of Orville, Ohio; and seven grandchildren, Devin Lancaster, Rilynn Eddy, Maddox Ayres, Bailey Eddy, Mallory Ayres, Charlie Jean Eddy, and Kiarra Eddy.

        

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil Gum, Carney Gum, Billy Kell Gum, and Bobby Gum; one sister who died as an infant; and a grandson, Patrick Allen Tennant.

         

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday February 17, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 3:00.
