Lola Mae Deao was born Sept. 7, 1918, at Wapello, the daughter of Edward and Maggie Clark Moore. She was reared and educated at Mountain View, Mo. On February 12, 1941 in Fairfield, Iowa she married Edward Deao.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Gene Niece, Hillsboro and Lena Sue Deao, at home; her mother Mrs. Maggie Page of Hillsboro; Lockridge;two brothers, William Moore, Birmingham, and Lloyd Moore of Oklahoma, and sister Mrs. Theodore (Laura) Prevett of Fairfield., and 3 grandchildren.
Joint Services for Edward and Lola will be held at the Hillsboro Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. Levi Winfrey officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Lola Deao and her husband were killed Monday when their car was struck by a Burlington railroad freight train, 6 miles east of Fairfield on a county road crossing.
