Services for Albert T. Jensen, 92 of Blair, who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair Oct. 22, 1996 will be 11 a.m. Sat., Oct. 26 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.
Albert T. Jensen was born Aug. 11, 1904 near Kennard to Henry and Johanna Hansen Jensen. He was baptized and confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church. He grew up northwest of Kennard and attended March and Brewster Schools.
He married Anna E. Nelson of Kennard Dec. 29, 1926. They farmed near Kennard, Herman and Blair until 1949. He worked at the Ford Tractor Co., for the city of Blair and at the Kelly Ryan plant until retiring in 1985.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; his parents and brothers, Art, Bill, Les and Oscar; sisters, Mable Swanson and Bertha Jacob and by a grandson, James Jensen.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Bruce Coryell of California Junction, Iowa and Corinne and Joe Gentry of Woodville, Ohio; three sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Mary of Fresno, Calif.; Bob and Sherry of Solvang, Calif.; and James Mortonson of Saugus, Calif.; a sister, Ella Rahlfs of Blair; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and by several nieces and nephews.
