Reba Riddle Bodie, 92, born January 31, 1932, in Saluda to William Alonzo Riddle and Arrie Bell Crouch Riddle, passed away February 7, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of the late Frederick Franklin Bodie.
Mrs. Bodie was an accounting administrator with Gunnells Marine and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving were two daughters, Gwen (Barney) Gunnells of Ninety-Six, Julia (Ashley) Rankin of Saluda, a son Otha (Abbie) Bodie of Saluda, four grandchildren, Nikki Bodie, Cheyenne Bodie, Kirksi Bodie, and Arrie Bodie, and five great-grandchildren, Tracen, RaeLee, Dayson, Haisleigh, and Selah. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bodie was preceded in death by six brothers, B.O. "Dick" Riddle, C. C "Pap" Riddle, V.O. Riddle, Otha "Rock" Riddle, Lewis Riddle, and Elmer "Pebble" Riddle, and four sisters, Connie Smith, Ora Shealy, Juanita Shealy, and Oline Dozier.
Christian Funeral Services: 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 11, at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Mitchell officiating, followed by Interment in Mayson Memorial Cemetery.
