K. Dale Albright, age 63 of Lancaster, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Dianne Sangrey Albright for 16 years as of July 27th of last year.
He was born in Lancaster, son of the late George & Kathryn Dolly Keller Albright. He was a member of Calvary Monument Bible Church of Paradise where he was very active on the Fellowship Committee and Member Care Committee.
Dale started, organized and coached the church softball team. Along with his wife, they supported the Factory Youth Center of Paradise with yearly benefit banquets. Dale worked for Armstrong World Industries retiring in 1999. He then worked for Overhead Door Company of Lancaster as a residential sales rep.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving at a missile station in Wyoming. Dale enjoyed softball, fishing and playing Pinochle. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Surviving besides his wife are 4 children: Curtis T., husband of Jessica Borrego Albright of San Diego, CA, Shawn C., husband of Brie Waldkirch Albright of Elizabethtown, Shannon M., wife of Matthew Levin of Swampscott, MA, Chris, husband of Angie Brown Dearolf of Quarryville, 6 grandchildren: Nikelle, Jake, Joshua, Jordan Albright, Macklin Levin and Baby Levin due to be born in August, brother: Donald, husband of Fran Albright of Palmyra, PA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Albright.
A Memorial service will take place from the Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11 A.M. with a time to greet the family from 9:30 A.M. until time of service. Interment of cremains will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Factory Youth Center, P.O. Box 282, Paradise, PA 17562 or to the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing, payable to Lancaster General College, C/O Lancaster General Healthcare Foundation, P.O.
