Funeral service for WyVaughn Trent "W.T." Smith , 72, will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Rock Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Ward and Bro. Randy Sellers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rock Creek Baptist Church.Mr. Smith died on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at his residence. He was born February 19, 1951, in Morgan County, to Irmel Lafaye Smith and Doris Helen Gatlin Jennings.He was employed by YRC Trucking as a Truck Driver, prior to his retirement. He was a United States Marine Veteran and served in the Vietnam War and was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and he enjoyed farming. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father; his mother; his stepfather, W.H.
