Richard M. Garrison, aged 61, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital.

Born on February 5, 1962, in Great Barrington, MA, Richard was the beloved son of the late Matthew Garrison and Roberta Little (Garrison).

Throughout his life, Richard found fulfillment in being a self-employed small engine mechanic, dedicating many years to his craft. His passions included fishing, hunting, and tending to the farm. He cherished quality moments spent with family, friends, his cherished cat Big Foot, and his longtime companion, Mille Lapier.

Richard's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He is survived by his mother, Roberta Little (Garrison); his son, Richard Capone; his brother, Matthew Garrison, and sister-in-law Karen; his sisters, Marion Hatton, Rebecca Rivera, and Catherine Rivera, along with her husband Joseph; nephews, Jose Rivera, Daniel Rivera, Nico Rivera, Dylan Rivera, of Ballston Spa, Jacob Moore from Georgia. Nieces, Tamara Beagle (Tomatoewitz) from Ballston Spa, Tiffany Mossman and Kristyn Moore of Georgia. Stepbrothers, Normond and Todd Landry and John O'Dell Jr. (John John); stepsisters, Tina Landry, Sherry, Anna Marie, Debra, Kimberly and Donna O'Dell. He was also a proud grandfather to Richard Capone Jr., Skyler Dingman, Shawn Morse and Sabrina Capone. His cousins, Nikki and Todd (cuz) and aunt Barb who will always hold him dear. Richard's extended family includes many cousins and friends, including Charles and John Arnold, Paul Griffith, Sharon Capone, along with countless others who will deeply miss him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Matthew Vernon Garrison, Stepmother, Heather Landry (Garrison) and his brother, David Charles Garrison.

Family and friends may pay their respects and offer their condolences from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024. A funeral service honoring his life will follow at 3:00 p.m.
