JOEL E. MYERS SERVICES SET SERVICES HELD

Joel Elmer Myers, a resident of Morgan Mill for the past 30 years, died at his home there Monday morning. Funeral services were conducted from the Morgan Mill Missionary Baptist Church, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. James Gibson and Rev. Ernest Rippetoe officiating. Interment was made in the Morgan Mill cemetery.
Joel Elmer Myers was born July 10, 1897. He was a member of the Morgan Mill Missionary Baptist Church, and farmed in the Morgan Mill community until his retirement.
Survivors include his widow; Mrs. Owen Cook of Kerns, Utah, a daughter; a step-grandson; Miss Belle Myers of Stephenville, Mrs. Jewell Reeves and Mrs. Clarence Kelley of California, and Mrs. John Bird of Fort Worth, sisters; and Z. P. Myers and Jack Myers of California, G. A. Myers of Clarendon, Texas and John C. Myers of Memphis, Texas, brothers.
Trewitt-Reed Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
