Terry Paul Gauthier, 83, passed away at home on February 10, 2023 of natural causes. He was born on March 14th, 1939 to Clevert and Della Gauthier in Plaucheville, LA. He graduated from De La Salle High School in 1957 and served in the Naval Reserve. Terry was truly a renaissance man, self-taught, his talents excelled as an artist, designer, woodworker and gardener. He appreciated music, travel and adventure as a young man and loved antiques of all description. He adored his dogs throughout his lifetime, too many to list and surrounded himself with birds and fish which he admired every day. He is predeceased by his parents and his partner, William Garrison. He is survived by his sister, Jeanette, his nieces, Jeanne and Julie and nephew Charlie as well as great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and his beloved dogs, Riley and Zane. A special thanks to Viorel and Judy Burke for their loving assistance as well as Terry's many friends that made his life joyful. At Terry's request a private graveside gathering will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery on Soniat Street in New Orleans on February 27th.
