Olympic Champion. In the 1964 Olympics Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, the world witnessed his remarkable skills in the men's Greco-Roman wrestling event. He emerged victorious, clinching the prestigious gold medal. His achievements did not stop there. At the 1962 World Championships held in Jakarta, he won the silver medal, and he repeated his success at the 1967 World Championships in New Delhi, winning the bronze medal.
