Roy Wayne Hannah 65 of Clyde went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2023, in Care Partners of Asheville. He was a native of Haywood County Panther Creek Community and the son of Lucille Hannah Messer and the late Ray "Buster" Hannah. He is also preceded in death by one brother Mark Hannah
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and loving his family. He enjoyed reading his Bible and keeping up with his Sunday School lessons even though he was unable to attend church. He loved being with his cats and dogs.
He leaves behind a wife Frances Hannah of 45 years. Two daughters Candina Hannah of the home and Melissa Hannah of Franklin NC. One brother Robert Hannah and his wife Peggy. One sister Kathy Harris and her husband Jesse Harris and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 7th, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Panther Creek Baptist Church 5494 Panther Creek Road Clyde, NC 28721. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the service. The Rev. Ronald Green and Rev. Bryan Parkins will officiate the Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
