Mary Caroline Franks Roberts, age 85 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away December 3, 2023 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria La. Born in Winnfield, Louisiana June 7, 1938 she was a graduate of Winnfield High School. She worked for the Winn Parish School Parish Board until 2000 and was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church. She loved to babysit her great great-nieces and nephews as well as flower and vegetable gardening.
She is the daughter of the late Henry W. Franks and the late Mary M. Varnell Franks. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Allen Roberts, brother Dewitt Franks, and sister Hazel Ruth Franks Thomas.
She is survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20th 2024 at Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Calvin, Louisiana with Reverend Kenny Dyess officiating.
She was cremated and buried beside her husband at Sanders Chapel Cemetery.
