"Glen H. Prather, 71, Raymore in Cass County, died Monday at the home. He was born in Mount Moriah [sic], Mo., and lived in this area 51 years. Mr. Prather was a partner in the Carroll Cookie Co., Carrollton, Mo., before he retired in 1965. Earlier he was a salesman for the Bonner Biscuit Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a deacon at the Country Club Christian Church. He leaves a brother, Vernon Prather of Bethany, Mo.; and three sisters, Mrs. Doris McConkey of Overland Park, Mrs. Estelle Ashe of Westwood, and Mrs. Hazel Claycomb of Gallatin, Mo. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Mount Moriah Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, April 22, 1981
