Kerry Michael Barney, 73, of Cheyenne, passed away at home with his wife by his side on January 28, 2024.
Kerry was born on February 5, 1950, in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Wendall and LeOma Barney.
Kerry went into the Air Force after graduating from high school. He served his country proudly for 23 years. He retired as a Master Sergeant. He then worked for Sutherlands for eleven years and for Lowes for six years. He retired completely after that because of his M.S.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Mary; son, Kerry Jr., (Esther); daughter, Heather Heiskell (John); grandchildren, Contessa, Morris, Kerry III, Gabriel and Elliot; two brothers, Wayne (Lois) and Clay (Paula); their children; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Those who have preceded him in death are his dad, Wendall Ray Barney; mom, LeOma Barney; brothers, Kent, Verlynn and Shane; aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
Services will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel, 1900 East 19th St., Cheyenne, Wyoming on February 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
