Patsy Ann Brown, 86 of Van Buren walked quietly into the Lord's Garden on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

She was a Teacher's Aide for Independent School Districts. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Van Buren. She was a lifetime contributor to Southern Christian Home in Morrilton, Arkansas. She was an artist of sixty-eight years, teaching painting classes and setting up exhibits with the Crawford County Art and Education Foundation. She was also the author of several children's books. Patsy was a great friend, an even better sister, and an inspiration to all that knew her and her love for storytelling.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney A. and Virgie (Sullivan) Moore; her husband Jack Brown; one daughter Melissa (Missy) Gilbey; one son Bradley Brown; one sister Glenda Jane Williams and husband Jerry; brothers Billy Moore and Joe Moore; in-laws Floyd and Annie Brown, Speedy and Maxey Brown, Jerry and Rosemary Brown.

She is survived by two sisters Nancy Schuster and husband Marshall of Little Rock and Katherine Monk and husband Gene of Van Buren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2PM, Friday, February 2, 2024 at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Mack Pharr, Paul Jeffrey Brown, Marshall Dee Schuster and Zane Moore.
