Born in Greenville County, South Carolina, Bobbie was the daughter of the late Edmund Alvin and Hazel Barnett Buchanan. Bobbie was a homemaker who loved her family beyond measure and was of the Christian Faith. Bobbie ran a florist and enjoyed baking and making cakes at many different places.
Bobbie is survived by her children, James Phil Roach (Shelby), Ed Roach (Karen), Crystal Holt (Joe); daughter-in-law, Rachel Smith; brother, Donny Buchanan (Beulah); brother-in-law, Junior Shedd; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other beloved family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bobbie is preceded in death by her son, Brad Smith; brother, Ronald Buchanan; sister, Brenda B. Shedd; and infant sister, Carolyn Buchanan.
