PALMATIER, NAOMI HALL COOK, 96, of Madisonville, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Madisonville Health and Rehab. She loved sharing her garden with neighbors and friends. She was passionate about growing vegetables and flowers. She had a big heart for animals. She was absolutely treasured by her family. She was the oldest member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Naomi was the daughter of the late Horace and Mae Craig Hall. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Glenn Cook and Paul Palmatier; son, Dennis Reece Cook; grandson, Scott Snyder; brothers, Thomas Hall and James Hall. Survivors: daughters, Barbara (Allan) Watson, Pat Cook (Ron Pierce), of Madisonville, and Leah Ronan, of Florida; grandchildren, Tracy Staff, Shannon Wheeler, Janice Ledford, Chris Cook, Sarah Ronan; 10 great-grandchildren; special niece, Dana Syrja and her husband Roger; nephews, Dwight Hall and Gary Hall. Our appreciation and gratitude go to Wood Village Assisted Living for their care and compassion the last 2 plus years. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Monroe County Friends of Animals. The family will receive friends 11 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30th at Oak Grove Baptist Church. The graveside service and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Wayne Trentham will officiate. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
