John Abraham Regier was born September 22, 1925 to John I. and Elizabeth (Weins) Regier and passed this earthly existence April 19, 2023 at the age of 97. John grew up during the Great Depression attending Spring Valley School, graduating from Kremlin High School. He was an avid trapper and fisherman as furs were in great demand. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy, stationed on the USS Chouree as a ships clerk and gunner. After the war he returned to the farm where he was born where he remained the rest of his life, becoming an avid cattleman and successful farmer. He liked to say that the early years farming after the war were a great boom time in American agriculture as "you could make a lot of money without trying". On September 7, 1950 he and Barbara Ogle were married in Loyal, OK. They raised three sons on the farm giving them a legacy of faith, love for the land and teaching them the value of hard work. His boys called him Chief.
John was preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Regier, and his youngest son Steven Mark Regier. He is survived by two sons, Rod Regier and wife Jeanie, Ed Regier and wife Sandra, daughter-in-law Noemi Regier, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

My Dad passed away during the dark of night.
His body and mind were both tired.
He woke up with a new body and clear mind in heaven's light.
He led a good honest life.
He worked hard.
And had a very good wife.
He was a good Dad and loved my brothers and me.
He taught us to work hard be honest and kind to others.
He taught by example and that is the best Dad there can be.
He is in heaven now.
With so many friends and family to see.
I bet he is as busy as a bee.
