Alicia Renee Hippensteel,age 59, of Topeka, Kansas, died peacefully after a short illness on January 14, 2024 in Topeka, KS. She was born May 23, 1964, on a sunny, breezy day in Torrance, California.
Alicia carried the California sun with her always, but a quiet breeze she was not. She was a free spirit and she is now forever free. She was a talented artist, a comedienne, a friend to many, and a caregiver. She is accurately described as "unique," "spontaneous" and "unforgettable."
Alicia was a mother of five children and a grandmother of two, who wish to remain private. She is survived by her mother, Kathryn Sue (Abell) Murray; brother, Ryan Hippensteel; step-father Robert Murray; sister, Robin (Murray) Shepherd; and brother, Lucas Murray; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins across the globe.
Alicia was predeceased by her eldest son, Brandon Carmichael; her father, David Hippensteel; and her step-mother, Diane Hippensteel.
