1955 – 2024
Our beloved mother and wife, Dolores Elizabeth Lariviere, also known to many as Bunny, age 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was born, January 28, 1955, in Philadelphia, PA, to James and Dolores Staples.
She spent her childhood with her siblings, Diane, Kathleen and Jimmy. She graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School where she married her first husband and had children, Sean and Ryan.
After separation Bunny decided to pursue her dreams of becoming a nurse. She then relocated to Pensacola, Florida where she met Lionel William Lariviere Jr. and not long after came Lionel III.
She then went on to become a graduate of Pensacola State College in 1985 with her Nursing Degree. After receiving her degree, she worked as an LPN at multiple facilities. Several years later, her love of interacting with children led to her becoming a preschool teacher and director of San Jose Episcopal Day School.
Bunny truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with loved ones, baking for friends, family and church events, spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and pets.
Bunny is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dolores Staples.
She is survived by her best friend and husband, Lionel Jr.; son, Sean (Lisa); daughter, Ryan (Rick); son, Lionel III (Felecia); along with grandchildren: Peyton, Brianna (Kyle), Ali (Judah), Tristen, Shane, Kelly, Will, Izzy, and Pierce; and great grandchildren, Kade and Adaline.
Family and friends are invited to join us for Bunny's Celebration of Life on Monday January 29, 2024, at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton. Located at 6539 Trammel Drive, Milton, Florida 32570. Visitation will begin at 12:30pm with services to follow at 1:30.
