CLAUDETTE JANE GREENWELL: Beloved wife of Thomas (Jeff) Greenwell and loving mother of Dale, Glenn, Chris, Alan and Stephanie, was peacefully lifted unto God on January 1, 2012 at home after a prolonged battle with cancer. She is also survived by her mother, Della Anderson, and sister, Carol Fleagle. Claudette was born on February 20, 1938 in Parma, Missouri. She was raised in St. Mary's Ohio. She lived and raised her family in Prince George's County, Maryland. A 1956 graduate of Memorial High School St. Mary's, Ohio, Claudette attended McConnell Airline School in 1957. She nurtured and watched them grow for twenty-five years; attending their various activities - school plays, sports, band concerts and graduations. She volunteered untold hours in support of her grandchildren at Ascension School in Lanham, Maryland helping with the music and theater programs. Various hobbies and activities throughout her live included her beloved bridge group of 35+ years. She enjoyed playing golf, camping, and traveling with her husband and children and their families. She was appreciated by her family and friends for her exceptional baking and cooking, sewing and homemaking, nurturing motherly ways, easy going personality and sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by her immediate family and rather large extended family and friends.
