Argentinian Actor. Born Alfredo Carlos Birabén in Buenos Aires, he made his debut in Hollywood silent films in 1926. He is best remembered as Jonathan Harker in the Spanish-speaking counterpart of the classic "Dracula" (1931). His many credits also include "What Price Glory?" (1926), "The Legion of the Comdemned" (1928), "Amor Audaz" (1930), "El Pasado Acusa" (1931), "Lady for a Day" (1933), "Let's Be Ritzy" (1934), "El Diablo del Mar" (1935), "She's Dangerous" (1937), "The Buccanneer" (1938), "The Razor's Edge" (1946) and "To Catch A Thief" (1955). He died of a heart attack.
