Wanda Rudean Piper was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church and lived her life for the Lord and made sure everyone she came into contact with knew about Him. Wanda loved to cook, watch Alabama football, and spend time with her family. She was a truly selfless woman, always thinking of others first.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Thomas "Buck" Piper; parents John Isaac and Josie Hollis; grandson Johnathan Piper; and a host of siblings.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 1:30 pm from New Horizon Chapel. Burial will follow in Freewill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.
