Will C. Danforth, 63, former M-K-T railroad engineer and former San Marcan, died at his home in Wimberley Wednesday night.
Funeral services will be held at the Rogers-Rugel chapel at 3 p.m. Friday, with burial in the
Wimberley Cemetery. The Rev. Frank D. Charlton of Columbus will officiate.
Danforth lived in San Marcos most of his life, moving to Wimberley four years ago. He was a native of Alabama and came to Texas in 1880.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, and three daughters, Mrs. C. M. Halm of San Marcos, Miss Vivian Danforth of Maxwell, and Miss Lily Danforth of Liberty Hill; five brothers, T. J. Danforth of Los Angeles, Calif., G. T. Danforth of Houston, D. D. Danforth of Galveston, P. B. Danforth of Burkburnett, and D. W. Danforth of New York City; one sister Mrs. Hattie Maddox of Cameron; and step-mother, Mrs. J. W. Danforth of San Marcos.
