Randy graduated from Dallas Baptist University, served in the Texas Air National Guard and the Dallas Police Reserves, and ministered as a deacon, youth Sunday School teacher, and sound system operator for many years at First Baptist Church in Lancaster, Texas.

He will be best remembered as a Christian husband, father, grandfather, friend and for the brave battle he fought against Parkinson's for more than eight years.
