Teresa Allen Pope was born June 25, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away peacefully in her home Thursday, August 3. 2023 after a long and debilitating illness.
Teresa was the only daughter born to George and Maxine Allen with four brothers to complete the family. She met and married Oscar Baldwin Pope August 31, 1967 and together they raised three wonderful children. She had several grand and great grandchildren as well.
She became a registered nurse in 1976 and spent her life caring for patients and family. She retired from UTMB IN 2019. She filled many roles as she played a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard and WG Allen, as well as her spouse Oscar. She is survived by her brothers Charles Allen and Randy Allen, daughter, Robin Pope and Kameron Thompson, son Richard Pope, son Rhett Pope and wife Rachel. Survivors also include her much loved grandchildren, Jordan Dosillio and Kyle Isget, Raven Landis and Adam Postel, Wyatt Pope and Morgan, Michael Ross and Yasmine, and Spencer Pope. Great grandchildren include Lowan Blake, Maisyn Lane, Ziggy and Presten as well as numerous dearly loved nieces and nephews.
