Mrs. John Sullivan, 84, former resident of Bridgeport, died Thursday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Wilbur Klarr.......West Forest Avenue, Detroit. Frances Payne was born May 1, 1853, in New York and came to Michigan 14 years later. She was married to Frank Shreve in 1882 in Bridgeport. They lived there until 1917, when they moved to Flint, where Mr. Shreve died in 1920. Mrs. Shreve was married to Mr. Sullivan in 1924 and they lived on a farm near Flint until recently, when they went to Detroit.
Mrs. Sullivan leaves her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Klarr; one son, Louis Shreve of Saginaw; one brother, Fred Payne of Batavia, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
....burial will be in Oakwood, Bridgeport.
