NOVEMBER 16, 1953 – MAY 1, 2023
We are sad to announce the passing of Armond David Ferrin of Salt Lake City, Utah. He died at the age of 69 on May 1st, 2023 at his home in West Valley.
David was a gentle soul with a mischievous side. He loved to tease his sister, and when she would get mad, he would chuckle roguishly and rub his hands together in delight. At Thanksgiving, you could find him picking at the food dishes before the blessing. He loved hockey, especially the Salt Lake Golden Eagles, and had season tickets that he enjoyed with his parents for more than a decade. He loved Alaska and he loved vacationing at the Disney parks, and he would tear up every time he stepped onto Disney's Main Street. He loved his family and had a kind, tender heart. He found joy in delivering flowers, a job he excelled at for years. He was good-natured and witty, and his humor will be missed. Travel well, Uncle David. Say hi to Grandpa Floyd and Grandma Carmond for us.
David is survived by his sister, Lawayne Reeve; his nieces, his nephew, his grandnieces, and his grandnephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Carmond Ferrin, and his grandniece, Brooklyn James.
At David's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to send flowers to a loved one in David's honor.
