Carl E. Barrett, age 96, passed away Wednesday, January 17th, at his residence in Piedmont. He was born March 19th, 1927 in Piedmont, MO, the son of John Barrett and Emma (Lunyou) Barrett.
Carl worked as a mill worker for Worley Log & Lumber and was a lifelong resident of Piedmont. He married Lois Joann (Hacker) Barrett November 30th, 1962 in Piedmont and she passed away September 8th, 2015.
Also preceding him in death are his parents, six brothers, Willard, Lee, Kenneth, Bill, Delmo & Ronnie Barrett, three sisters, Virginia Desha, Betty Garrett, & Barbara Brown, two children, Karris Ada Davis & John Edward Davis, two grandchildren, Tracy & Courtney, one great grandchild, Ryan.
Survivors include 4 children, Carl Scott Barrett of Piedmont, Neil Richard Barrett of Piedmont, Robbi Rutledge and her Husband Larry of Piedmont, Drew David Barrett and his wife Susan of Highland Mills, NY.
In addition, he is survived by 12 grandchildren, Jordan & Nicole, Gina & Justin, Janine & Dewayne, Erika, Nicole, Coral, Jerika, Kyle, Michelle, Cody, Eddie, and Bobby, 15 great grandchildren, Gentry, Kimber, Kordyn, Isaac, Elsie, Konner, Kason, Landon, Owen, Eva, Carlee, Jack, George, Tommy, and Bobby, along with many nieces, nephews, and other family & friends.
Visitation will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Richard Sanders officiating.
Interment will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Piedmont.
