Barb was born on February 21, 1938 to Raymond and Naomi Williamson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was a graduate of Minnehaha Academy class of 1956. Soon after graduating she worked as a nurse's aide, then spent some time at the Twin City Arsenal. She finished her career at 3M where she worked in various positions of research, development, and manufacturing. After 18 years, she retired at age 54. After retiring, Barb purchased two apartment buildings and with help from her children, she remodeled and rented them out.
Barb enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, puzzles, relaxing at her lake home and reading her Bible. She was extremely proud of her accomplishments in life and her independence.
"Mom" was the pillar of the family who treasured her children and embraced every moment when they came to visit. She loved being a mother-in-law, but especially loved being a grandma. She will be greatly missed.
Barb is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Naomi Williamson; brother, Brian (Judy) Williamson and son-in-law, Don Kronschnable.
Barb is survived by her 6 children, Rhonda (Leon) Norrgard, Kellie Kronschnable, Robbin (Tim) Herber, Kerrie (David) Dumas, Michael Liberty, and Monique (John) Bailey; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great-grandchildren; brother, Blair (Diane) Williamson, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
