Tom Cross, 82, of Caryville, died last Thursday at LaFollette Community Hospital. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Caryville and a member of the United Mine Workers. He was a retired miner.
Survivors include sons, Bob and George Cross of Caryville; daughters, Evelyn Herron of Caryville and Noma Marine of Seattle, Wash.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mrs. Ollie Leonhardt of Caryville and Mrs. Lou Sharp of LaFollette.
Services were held Saturday at Cross Chapel with the Rev. J. C. Watson and the Rev. Dale Smith officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
