Rosalee Casey Eells was born on August 4, 1935 in Shattuck, OK to Thomas Guymon and Flora Mae (Raines) Casey and departed her earthly life on January 15, 2024. She graduated from Rosston High School in 1953 and married Raymond Eells the following summer, August 3, 1954. The newlyweds set off for Idaho to seek work and begin their married life. They added to their family while in Idaho – Tammy Lynn in 1955 and Mark Ray in 1956. Raymond and Rosalee moved back to Oklahoma in 1957 and lived in Rosston until they moved and made their home in Laverne. In 1959, they completed their family with the birth of their daughter, Janet Lee.

Rosalee worked for Roena Devore at Lake insurance Agency from 1970 to 2000. She was an efficient secretary and enjoyed visiting with customers. She also played the piano at Rosston Methodist Church for many years and was an active member of her church family.

Rosalee became Meme with the arrival of their four grandchildren: Erin, Darin, Lori and Rusty. The cousins enjoyed years of memories at Meme and Papa's. From tea parties to coke floats, card games to dress up, she delighted in her grands.

Rosalee moved to Parkview Pointe in Laverne in 2018. Her family was so grateful to have her well cared for and nearby.

She is preceded in death by her parents Guymon and Flora Mae Casey, her parents-in-law Floyd and Lillian Eells, her brother Tom Casey, husband Ray Eells, son Mark Eells and her daughter Tammy Terry.

Those left to treasure the memories are her daughter Jan Love and husband David, son-in-law David Terry and wife Kristi.
