Mrs. Laura Lois Bynum Tucker, age 101, of Paige passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at her daughter's home in Paige. Mrs. Tucker was born January 8, 1915 in the Creek Community to Dollie and George Stephen Bynum. Mrs. Tucker attended school in Creek and was a member of the Methodist Church. She married Clyde Tucker on July 4, 1931 in Shiloh, Texas and they resided in Houston from 1941 until the 1970s working at Weingarten's Grocery Store as a retail clerk for ten years. Mrs. Tucker retired and moved back to Creek to take care of her mother, Dollie Bynum for thirteen years. She was a homemaker, an excellent seamtress, great cook and could make the best fried chicken and was much loved by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
